  • The Wami/Ruvu Basin Water Board held a meeting with members of the Confederation of Tanzanian Industries (CTI) to discuss progress and challenges identified in the collection of water usage fees, including the concealment of accurate water usage statistics by some industries.
  • Chairperson of the Water Board for the Wami/Ruvu Basin, Ms. Hafsa Mtasiwa, presented proposals for sustainable management of water resources during a joint meeting with members from the water boards of Wami/Ruvu and Moruwasa.

  • Minister of Water, Hon. Jumaa Aweso collaborating with the Wami/Ruvu Basin Board to clean the river to allow water to flow easily in Ruvu river in order to reduce water allocation for the residents of the Coast and Dar es Salaam.
