CTI AND WAMI/RUVU AGREE TO FULLY COLLABORATE ON CONSERVATION OF WATER SOURCES. 

The Wami/Ruvu Basin Water Board held a meeting with members of the Confederation of Tanzanian Industries (CTI) to discuss progress and challenges identified in the collection of water usage fees, including the concealment of accurate water usage statistics by some industries.

This meeting took place in Dar es Salaam, where the Vice Chairman of Board of Directors of the Wami/Ruvu Basin Mr. Hussein Sufian, stated that the Board and the CTI have agreed to fully collaborate on the conservation of water resources and timely payment of water usage fees to ensure that conservation efforts are not impeded.

Representing the Director of the Confederation of Tanzanian Industries, Ms. Anna Kimaro, expressed their willingness to cooperate with Wami/Ruvu for the development of the country's water resources.
