Acting District Executive Director of Kilosa District Council Hon. Cheyo Nkelege, has said that at this time when the world is facing the effects of climate change, there is a need for the concept of Integrated water resources management to be given priority in order to save water resources for human life. He made this statement during the inauguration of the Water Users Association Office at TAMI/MSOWERO Village, where its construction was done by the Wami/Ruvu Basin Water Board. In addition, increased human activities along water sources which cause environmental pollution is among the challenges facing water Resources Management.

The Vice Chairman of the Wami/Ruvu Basin Water Board Miss. Norah Hambya said the mission of building the office of the Water Users Association in the area will support the protection and sustainable conservation of water resources. On their part, some citizens of Msowero Village have explained how the Water Users Association Leaders and their Committees help to maintain and protect water sources in the area
